3 Styles of Nigerian Chicken Pepper

Here are 3 different variations Nigerian Pepper Chicken.  Myself I do the Boil, I also remove the skin of the chicken then slightly fry with onions. I Try not to use much oil, or fat. Then I add altogether and stew.  Use the best way you desire, make some changes, these recipes are easy to follow.  And, taste Great

Nigerian Pepper Chicken   (Recipe 1)
10 chicken pieces
3 red bell pepper (Tatashe)

1 can plum tomatoes (or 3 Medium size Tomatoes)
3 Scotch Bonnet chili peppers (Ata rodo)
2 onions
1 cup vegetable oil
2 cups chicken stock
vegetable oil (for Frying Chicken, Optional)
5 cloves garlic
1 inch ginger root
thyme
curry powder
5 curry leaves (Optional)
4 chicken (Knorr, cubes)
seasoning (I Tablespoon your preferred)

Nigerian Chicken Stew (Red Tomato Stew)
Spicy and aromatic Nigerian Chicken Stew made with roma tomatoes, red bell peppers, and seasoned chicken. A very classic and popular dish from Nigeria that can be eaten with many things.

1/8 cup vegetable oil 
3 pounds chicken cut in pieces
4 roma tomatoes, chopped
1 28 oz can whole peeled plum tomatoes
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 red bell pepper, chopped
2 habanero peppers
1 medium onion sliced
1½ teaspoon dried thyme
1 Tablespoon Nigerian red pepper (or Cameroonian red pepper)
1 teaspoon season salt

Mardi Gras "Fat Tuesday"

On this day it is "Fat Tuesday"  really meaning Mardi Gras also called Shrove Tuesday, or Fat Tuesday, in English, refers to events of the Carnival celebrations, beginning on or after the Christian feasts of the Epiphany and culminating on the day before Ash Wednesday. Mardi Gras is French for "Fat Tuesday", reflecting the practice of the last night of eating richer, fatty foods before the ritual fasting of the Lenten season.    ( I really thought it was Donut day!? That is in June.)

While not observed nationally throughout the United States, a number of traditionally ethnic French cities and regions in the country have notable celebrations. Mardi Gras arrived in North America as a French Catholic tradition with the Le Moyne brothers,^[15] Pierre Le Moyne d'Iberville and Jean-Baptiste Le Moyne de Bienville, in the late 17th century, when King Louis XIV sent the pair to defend France's claim on the territory of Louisiane, which included what are now the U.S. states of Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and part of eastern Texas.^[15]
The expedition, led by Iberville, entered the mouth of the Mississippi River on the evening of March 2, 1699 (new style), Lundi Gras. They did not yet know it was the river explored and claimed for France by René-Robert Cavelier, Sieur de La Salle in 1683. The party proceeded upstream to a place on the east bank about 60 miles downriver from where New Orleans is today, and made camp. This was on March 3, 1699, Mardi Gras, so in honour of this holiday, Iberville named the spot Point du Mardi Gras (French: "Mardi Gras Point") and called the nearby tributary Bayou Mardi Gras.^[16] Bienville went on to found the settlement of Mobile, Alabama in 1702 as the first capital of French Louisiana.
